How to calculate EMI and export the schedule
- Enter the loan amount (principal), annual interest rate (%), and tenure in months or years.
- Optionally set the First EMI month for period labels on the schedule.
- Click Calculate EMI to see summary cards and the full amortization table (opening balance, EMI, interest, principal, closing balance).
- Click Export PDF to download a branded SR Infobiz schedule for offline sharing or printing.
EMI formula
EMI = P × r × (1+r)n ÷ ((1+r)n − 1), where P is principal, r is monthly interest rate, and n is the number of months. If the interest rate is 0%, EMI is simply P ÷ n. The schedule breaks each instalment into interest and principal on a reducing balance.
Common uses
- Home and car loans — compare tenures before you apply.
- Personal loans — estimate monthly burden vs take-home pay.
- Planning — review how interest vs principal changes over time, then save a PDF.
Runs entirely in your browser
Calculation and PDF generation stay on your device — nothing is uploaded to a lender or our servers. For discount and markup maths, use the percentage calculator.
