Privacy Policy

SR Infobiz ("we", "us", "our") is a freelance IT services business based in India. We run the website srinfobiz.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains, in plain terms, what personal information we collect, why, how long we keep it, who can see it and what choices you have. By using the Site you agree to it. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who is responsible for your information

SR Infobiz, India, is the party that decides how the information described here is used. You can reach us at any time through our contact page.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

  1. Contact form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (if you give one), the type of enquiry and your message.
  2. Quotations and project work: the details you share with us by email, WhatsApp or phone while we prepare a quotation or deliver a service, and the quotation itself.
  3. Website Security Check: see section 6.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit, our server and our analytics collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the date and time. We use this in aggregate to understand how the Site is used, keep it secure and improve it.

3. What we use it for

  1. To reply to your enquiry, prepare and send quotations and deliver the services you ask for.
  2. To run the Website Security Check you request, show you the result and follow up on a request for the full report.
  3. To keep the Site and our services secure, and to prevent spam, abuse and misuse (for example rate limiting and blocking disposable email addresses).
  4. To measure and improve the Site and our tools.
  5. To show advertising (see section 5).
  6. To meet legal obligations and to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not send you marketing email unless you have asked for it.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

  1. Essential cookies that keep forms and sessions working and protect them from forgery (for example the session and security-token cookies). The Site cannot work properly without them.
  2. Analytics that tell us, in aggregate, which pages are used.
  3. Advertising cookies set by Google and its partners (section 5).

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop some forms, including the Website Security Check, from working.

5. Advertising

We show advertisements through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. To learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see this Google page.

6. Free Tools (client-side)

The tools on our Free Tools pages run inside your web browser. What you type or upload into them is processed on your own device and is not sent to our servers. We do not log, store or analyse that content. (The Website Security Check is a separate service and is not one of the free tools: see the next section.)

7. Website Security Check

If you use the Website Security Check (/services/website-security-check/), we process:

  1. the website address you ask us to check, and the technical results of the check (grade, findings and supporting evidence);
  2. your email address, and a record that you verified it with a one-time code (the code itself is stored only in protected form and expires quickly);
  3. your IP address, browser details, and the date and time of the request and of your acceptance of the ownership declaration and Terms;
  4. if you ask for the full report, the details you give in the contact form, which we link to your result.

To run the check, our server sends a small number of ordinary requests to the website you name and records what that website publicly returns. We do not log in to it, change anything on it or try to break into it.

Your result page is private to you: it is not listed in search engines and opens only from the browser that created it or after you verify your email again. If we send you a report, the link we give you may expire.

We keep this information for 180 days from the request and then delete it. We do not sell it. If you want it deleted sooner, contact us with your report reference (it looks like SCN-XXXXXX).

8. Who we share information with

We do not share your personal information except:

  1. with service providers who help us run the Site, such as our web hosting provider, our email delivery provider and the analytics and advertising providers named above, only as needed for them to do that work;
  2. when you ask us to, for example when we send you a quotation or report by email or WhatsApp (WhatsApp is operated by Meta and handles messages under its own terms);
  3. when the law requires it, or to respond to a lawful request from a court or authority, or to protect our rights, safety or property.

Some of these providers may process data outside India. By using the Site you accept this.

9. How long we keep information

  1. Contact form messages and quotation records: as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and project, then for a reasonable period for our records and legal obligations.
  2. Website Security Check data: 180 days, then deleted.
  3. Server logs: a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
  4. Aggregate analytics: up to 26 months, in aggregate or anonymised form.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, such as encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you may withdraw consent where we rely on it. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some information where the law requires or to protect our legal rights. Contact us through our contact page to make a request.

12. Children

The Site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-party links

The Site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

15. Contact and governing law

For any privacy question or request, use our contact page. This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction stated in our Terms and Conditions.
